PROJECT OVERVIEW
Created for Superplastic’s immersive retail concept, Dopeameme, inside AREA15 in Las Vegas, this scenic art installation transformed the space into a layered urban environment inspired by street art, underground culture, and Superplastic’s distinctive character universe.
Robin developed custom scenic treatments throughout the experience, from hiring local street artists to hand-paint graffiti murals, creating distressed surfaces and environmental graphics, to fabricating detailed set elements like silicone hotdogs in foam buns. She took advantage of AREA15's extensive UV lighting to create ultraviolet paint spills to lead guests into the space. These impactful visuals combine to blur the line between retail, exhibition, and themed entertainment.
Every detail contributed to a cohesive visual narrative, creating the feeling of a lived-in world where visitors could explore, discover, and interact with the Superplastic brand beyond the products themselves.
By combining scenic art techniques with immersive storytelling, the installation helped establish Dopeameme as a memorable destination within AREA15, reinforcing Superplastic’s playful, irreverent identity while creating an environment designed for exploration, engagement and shareable moments.
