PROJECT OVERVIEW
Originally created to celebrate the premiere of Katy Perry’s Las Vegas residency, Rainbow Wall transforms thousands of donated toys into a large-scale, immersive art installation designed to spark joy, curiosity, and participation.
Developed in partnership with Goodwill of Southern Nevada, the project gave new life to donated objects by arranging them into a colorful, larger-than-life composition inspired by the playful energy and visual spectacle of Perry’s creative world. The installation demonstrates how everyday items can be reimagined into meaningful experiences through creativity and collaboration.
Initially unveiled as a temporary activation, Rainbow Wall found a permanent home at Slonina ARTSpace, where it continues to serve as a dynamic photo opportunity for visitors of all ages. Its interactive nature encourages guests to engage with the artwork, capture and share their experience, and become active participants in the installation itself.
By combining sustainability, community partnership, and experiential design, Rainbow Wall illustrates the power of public-facing art to create memorable moments while extending the life of donated materials through creative reuse.
